Daniel Defoe (1661-1731)

His real name was Daniel Foe. He was an english trader and is considered one of the founders of the novel.


He wrote Robinson Crusoe in 1719 which is written in 1st person and is like an essay.


Also, he worte Everybody's business is nobody's business in 1725.



Defoe had almost 100 pseudonyms.
